Neive, in the very heart of Barbaresco

Neive is a village located in a special area in the Langhe, the Barbaresco district. Together with Treiso, Barbaresco and San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, they are the "capitals" of a region in which the Nebbiolo vine produces an excellent, full-bodied and aristocratic wine which is rich in fruity and ethereal perfumes (raspberry, red fruits, flowers, hay, vanilla…) and "alive". Barbaresco is a complex and exciting wine and is perfect for ageing.
Its features come from the medium-textured calcareous-clayish soil, which gives full-bodied wines. The microclimate and the sun contribute to make this DOCG wine the king of the region, which also produces good Barbera, Dolcetto and Arneis. Being a producer of Barbaresco especially for Fontanabianca means bringing the production of a high-quality wine the characteristics of the territory. In a word, to produce absolute quality. Several activities are carried out in the region of these four communes in order to promote Barbaresco.
